Party time!

Saturday, a few days after the boys real birthday, we had a big ole' family party! My sisters and their families came over for a BBQ, presents and cake. It was so much fun to celebrate our cute boys again...even if they weren't as thrilled as we were...

Cake time! I love this tradition!

They were pretty slow to start...

...but, eventually got into it!

Thanks to everyone for coming and for the fun presents--and thanks to Ba and Poppy, and G-ma and G-pa, for the great presents too! And a big "Wuuh-Wuuh, thank you!!" to everyone that helped us get through the first year!

Birthday Boys!!

I can't believe my babies are 1!! When I was pregnant with the twins, everyone told me the first year was the hardest and that it would seem like a blur. I always kind of thought (especially during the long nights and more frustrating days) "Yeah, right! This isn't going to be a blur! It's taking forEver!!" But, they were right. I can hardly remember a lot of the details of the last year, and I find myself wishing I had been able to savor it a little more. Nevertheless, we are relieved we made it to this point and are loving the new adventures year 2 brings...they are sooo close to walking!

Good Morning, Birthday Boys!!

...and sister!

We enjoyed some dinner and birthday brownies, followed by a bath and then (mom and dad) present time!
"Not interested, Mom!"

Brody finally showed some interest--which involved pushing the box in a circle before climbing on top. :)

Aaah, the final product. There were also some clothes and books involved, but they are somewhat less exciting, right?

Some of summer...

We can't believe summer is almost over...

Our trip to the zoo

Celebrating the Fourth in Idaho with my Mom and Dad, and Sissy and Alex.

At the parade...wooooohoooo!

Swimming the day away at Ba and Poppy's....

Deegan got a scary case of hives--we still don't know from what or why?!

And, of course, Princess Dance Camp for our princess. She has asked us when it's time to go again at least once a week since she went in June.

We also spent some time in Colorado for Dad's reunion, but forgot our camera...hopefully we can steal some picks from g-ma and post them later. :)
