On a mushier note...

Happy Anniversary, Babe! (yesterday)
(Boy we look young...and skinny) :)

I can't believe it's been six years! If someone had told me on our wedding day, what we were in store for...I don't think I would've believed them. Seven moves, master's thesis, 3 colicky babies, oh yeah...twins, 2 dogs, buying a house with Wells Fargo--ahhh...'nuff said, and oh yeah...twins. We've been through a lot, but there's no one else I'd rather have by my side through it all.

Loved you then,
Love you still.
Always have,
Always will.

Happy Easter

We had a fun Easter at our house! Karly woke me up bright and early with her basket in hand, saying, "Mom! Look what the Easter Bunny brought me! He was in my room!!" We then scrambled to make it to church on time. Afterwards, the boys got to look through their baskets and I took pictures of Karly with what was left in hers. We had a nice dinner and an indoor egg hunt (due to crappy weather) to wrap up the day.

Our new addition

I couldn't forget to share the news...we've adopted a new boy!
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 60-ish pounds
Height: 3 feet?
Eyes: Golden brown
Hair: Blonde and curly
Favorite food: Pizza
Greatest fear: the vacuum, mom's camera, the stapler
Favorite past-time: back scratches
New best friends: Bella Rae and Karly! :)

This is Oliver Mosley! Mose for short--(you say it like Moses--only without the "s". For all you "Office" watchers out there, he's named after Dwight's cousin.) We are so happy to have him. He is a labradoodle we got for Kelly to have as a retrieving/hunting dog. But, sadly for Kell, I don't think a dog that is afraid of a stapler will do well around guns...but here's hopin' huh, babe?! Even if he won't retrieve for Kelly, we still love him and he totally fits in our crazy, little family. He is so sweet and good with the kids. He, Bella and Karly are best friends and spend a lot of time in Karly's room doing who knows what?! We feel so lucky--we got him for free and I didn't have to potty train him. Welcome home, Mose!

It's me again...

I've been meaning to update forever, but at first I was too busy. Then, time went on and I just became overwhelmed at how behind I was and would say, "It's too much, I'll do it later". But, the more I put it off, the more I got behind--funny how that works. :) So, I've finally decided I'll just post some pictures, not try to write too much, and start fresh from here.

The chitlins are all getting so big. Karly is in sunbeams and loves it. She pretends to pray into a microphone every night--just like they do in primary. Her current favorite song is "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Yes, I am raising a 3 year old princess going on a 16 year old diva. And, our biggest challenge right now is trying to get her to use the potty. She was almost totally trained before the boys came...and then total regression. Now, it's just laziness. She can make it to the toilet when she wants to, but most of the time doesn't want to bother herself with a boring activity like that. We've tried bribing with toys, candy, stickers, pre-school, dance classes...and nothing. So, any tips would be greatly appreciated. :)

The boys are now almost eight months old!

Brody is our big boy--weighing in at 20 lbs. 8.5 oz. at 6 months. He is awesome at rolling over, but (I think due to the large size of his noggin) still struggles with sitting. He likes to lay on his back and scoot himself across the floor. He is usually very content and it's very easy to get a smile out of him. He's also already had his first haircut.
Here's the before

and after...so handsome :)

Deegan is our "Deegar Doodles"--weighing in at 18 lbs. 8 oz. at 6 months (and boy can you feel those two pounds difference from his brother). He's constantly kicking his legs or flapping his arms. He likes to squeal and scream. About a month and a half ago, we switched him to soy formula and his acid reflux dramatically decreased, so he has become a much happier boy. He still doesn't like to be on his tummy or flat on his back much, and so he doesn't really roll--but, he is great at sitting.

When everyone is happy we are soooo happy.....

More pics

Karly was her usual self....a little bit on the spastic side (in a good way, mind you). They would pose her and it would last for two pictures, and then she would start throwing her arms around or rolling around on the floor. These first two shots the photographer just kept shooting as Karly rolled around with the flower.
